Care with both heart and expertise
I'm Katrin – an independent midwife with more than 15 years of experience. I look after you during pregnancy and stay with you after the birth, through the postnatal weeks and while you are breastfeeding. I take the time you and your family need: for questions, for worries, and for the many small and large moments this special phase of life brings with it.
Between appointments I am there for you too – you'll have my phone number and can get in touch whenever something is on your mind.
As a midwife based in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen – affectionately called “Dribbdebach” by locals – I come to you for home visits: in Sachsenhausen-Nord and Sachsenhausen-Süd, in Neu-Isenburg and Dreieich, and in Oberrad and Niederrad.
A note on language: my English is practical rather than perfect. Now and then we may need a moment to find the right word, and for a medical term I'll happily reach for a dictionary. But we do understand each other, and I take the time that needs. For many families that is far easier than going through this time entirely in German.
So that I can confirm a place for you, please get in touch as early as you can – ideally between weeks 6 and 12 of your pregnancy.

From your first message through to breastfeeding – so you know what to expect from the very beginning.

Your enquiry
You get in touch – ideally early in your pregnancy (weeks 6–12) – with no obligation, using the form, email or a phone call.

Getting to know each other
In a first personal meeting we get to know each other, talk through what you would like, and go through your medical history together.

Care during pregnancy
I look after you and your baby – and everything this phase brings with it, physically and emotionally. If you'd like, I can also support you with acupuncture and taping during pregnancy and the postnatal period, and with laser therapy after the birth.

Postnatal care & breastfeeding
After the birth I come to your home – with breastfeeding support and care for both you and your baby.
